In petitioning for initiation, I understand the following precepts and responsibilities of Catholics - check all that you understand If baptized, use sacramental confession prior to Confirmation, and then to confess all mortal sins at least once per year, to not receive the Eucharist in a state of mortal sin, and to consider regular use of the sacrament, monthly recommended To contribute to the needs and upbuilding of the Church with time, talent and treasure To attend Mass from beginning to end (sign of the cross to final blessing) on all Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation (currently 58x/year) To fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday, and to abstain from meat on all Fridays of Lent To receive the Eucharist at least once per year during the 50 days of Easter If getting married, to receive the sacrament of marriage within the Catholic Church
